Cookies and local storage
Storage needed for the features you request.
Version 2026-10-13.2
Form protection
The __Host-fsc-protection security cookie, valid for 10 minutes, binds the anti-bot check to your browser. This check runs on our site without sending data to an anti-bot provider. Proofs expire after 10 minutes and mail counters cover 24 hours, using hashed identifiers. Expired records are removed during subsequent checks or daily cleanup.
Sign-in and cart
In production, __Host-fsc-session keeps sign-in for 12 hours and __Host-fsc-guest provides guest cart access for 30 days. These first-party cookies support requested features, not advertising. Expiry limits access and alone does not guarantee deletion of all server records. Names without the __Host- prefix are used in development.
Language and currency
francesim-language and francesim-currency retain your preferences for one year. Currency may also be stored in browser local storage until cleared. Initial choices come from browser preferences, not geolocation; they do not determine your billing country. You may change language and currency at any time. No ChatGPT account is required.
Temporary drafts
When moving from chat to the contact form, your last question may be kept in francesim-assistant-draft in browser session storage. It is removed when the form opens; after 10 minutes it is no longer restored automatically. The draft becomes a recorded request only when you submit the form. fsc-cart-recovery may remember within the same session that a cart needs recovery after sign-in. These items do not track browsing on other sites.
Managing storage
The current flow does not include advertising or optional audience analytics. Adding unnecessary trackers requires information and, where required, prior consent with refusal as easy as acceptance and changeable choices. The hosted bank form may use its own technical cookies; its notice applies there. You can clear cookies and local storage in browser settings; this may sign you out and make your cart inaccessible.
